The Bulgarian midfilder Stilan Petrov resigned from the Bulgarian national team after the game 
against Luxembourg.Aston Villa`s star said that he wont play in the team until the head coach quits (Stoichkov) This comes as a surprise for the regular people but for the people who followed the team closley this was matter of time. Bulgaria is in good position in their group. However after the latest problems, Stoichkov hopes to overcome the challanges and go to Euro 2008. Stilian Petrov will be missed in the national team for sure. However the problematic coach Stoichkov continues with his small inside games which dont lead to anything good in the Bulgarian side. Bulgaria is in group with Holland and Romania for Euro 2008. Stenli was the best player in the first 4 games.
What a surprise that was!Stoichkov better start do some real work instead of having fights with his players all the time. Believe me the right coach for the Bulgarian national team has to be from outside Bulgaria. There were some speculations that Fatih Terim was going to be the new coach but I doubt it. Bulgaria club football has been rising for the last 3 years now the national team has to show why they are called the national team of Bulgaria.
